Wine Festival, XXX edition: October events in Sorrento
For the thirtieth year Sorrento is celebrating the historic "Grape Festival". The event, hosted as usual in the charming village of priorities, prepares to celebrate its thirtieth birthday in the best way, giving the citizens a calendar of activities richer than ever.,
The grape festival is not just an ancient tradition, but also a way that the city has for celebrate the prestige of the wines in Sorrento, as evidenced by many high quality labels.
Wine, good, not just for this event: in the program, edited and coordinated in detail by the parish priest Fr Francis Xavier House prioress there will be space to show tourists the ancient recipes of the farmers who have the grapes as the main ingredient.
The rich program of events which we report at the end there will be room for everything: food and wine event, concerts of classical music, and historical insights: representations of ancient vintage, and the presentation diel book Lives of Wine, the story of a journey into the literary culture wine treated by the same priest.

11.00 - Teatro S. Antonino (at the Cathedral of Sorrento) and Preview of the Festival presentation
From 9.00 to 12.00, in Piazza Lauro, inauguration of the Harvest Coast.
Educational tour of the Schools of Sorrento and historical representation of the grape harvest with grape crushing.
From 14.00 to 18.00 Visit of the vineyards of the area.
19.30 Opening of the Festival I Overview "Youth festival in between present and past"
Stand in the representation of the various stages of the process on the 'grape.
Historical representation of the harvesting and crushing of 'grape, with tastings of foods and wines and wine cellar ... well as a taste (panel) treated by the Sommelier Wine Campania Sorrento Peninsula of the stands and Piazzetta Via Priora.
