Unico Campania Pompei-Vesuvio ticket
From the 1St of May 2010 starts the Unico Campania Pompei-Vesuvio ticket, to encourage and promote public transport to and from the archaeological city of Pompeii and the Vesuvio area.
The companies concerned are the Consorzio Unico Campania EAVBUS and City Sightseeing Naples.
The aim is to improve and enhance the supply, increasing the runs of transportation number, scheduled tours, and to provide also an higher quality service.
The ticket Unico Campania Pompeii-Vesuvius costs only 10 euros and it is valid for the round-trip ticket on EAVBUS and City Sightseeing lines.
Tickets can easily be obtained from the service staff in Pompeii departures (Piazza Anfiteatro / Port Marina / Villa dei Misteri) and the in local train station stops "Villa dei Misteri, Pompeii ruins.
Definitely a great initiative for those who want to visit the wonderful city of Pompeii and the picturesque area of Vesuvius!
