Forerunner of the Sorrento Gastronomic Days the presentation of the Tg2 journalist Bruno Gambacorta book "Eat Parade - Discover, stories, recipes and products out of the ordinary" in Piazza Tasso, with the participation of journalist Santo Di Salvo and the master pastry chef Vincenzo Mennella, which will give proof of his talent with a sweet creation inspired by Sorrento.

On Saturday, December the 3rd will be held highly anticipated "Villa Massa Awards", an award dedicated to personalities who have distinguished for their commitment and their passion in the spread of Italian food and wine culture. The event is sponsored by the brothers Sergio and Stefano Massa, owner of Villa Massa and organizers of the days. It will also be announced the winner of the "Signature dish". But the day does not end there: after the award receiving will be held the second edition of the "Forum of Food Industry and Food excellence", with the round table "The Social Kitchen and collective excellence", reserved to experts.
The evening is worldly with the gala evening presented by Veronica Maja. During the event, will face toward the Campanian and the Piedmont cuisine, in a battle of delicacies between the Campanian Antonio Pisaniello of the "Locanda Blu", Paolo Barrale of the restaurant "Marennà" and the master "Pastry Chef of the Year 2010" Sal De Riso and the Piedmont representatives Massimo Dellaferrera of the Trattoria La Coccinella, Walter Ferretto of the restaurant "Cascinale Nuovo" and the Master Pastry Fabrizio Galla, one of the promises in the world of Italian chocolate.
