Massimo Ranieri in Sorrento

The play is taken from the namesake album of 2006 and, started from Italian theaters, continues to obtain a great success, heart of Massimo Ranieri histrionic talents, who during the play does not spare himself, taking a stab in dance, song and in acting, in an all-accomplished show, embellished with improvised parts and big hits as Rose Rosse, Erba di casa mia and Perdere l’amore.

In the performance will be also suggested again some classical Neapolitan pieces and  author songs like Almeno tu nell’universo by Mia Martini and some of the most beautiful song of Battisti, Battiato e Mina, only to name a few.

The title comes from a very particular curious anecdote that Ranieri always remember: when he was a child the older brother "intimated" that if he didn’t start singing, he would have thrown him in the deep water, and Ranieri, who couldn’t swim, began to sing.

Another feature of the show is that Ranieri is the only man. Both the orchestra and the dancers are in fact composed entirely of women.

Worthy of note is the interpretation of the young tap dancer Federico Pisano, the singer alter ego, and the performances of Senegalese singer Badar Seck.

Big names for the choreography, headed by Franco Miseria, and the costumes, headed by Giovanni Ciacci. The text of the show is four-handed signed Gualtiero Peirce, who had already assigned the showmen in the shows “Oggi o dimane”, “Nun è acqua” and “Accussì grande”
