Leonardo and the Renaissance in Sorrento

From the 26thy of June to 24th of October, 2010, in the setting of Villa Fiorentino in Sorrento will host the exhibition "Leonardo and the fantastic Renaissance - Between Naples and the Mediterranean routes ".
Finally, the "Lucan self-portrait” has been attributed to Leonardo da Vinci.
On the 8th of May, the most famous experts of the work and ingenuity of Leonardo da Vinci met in the town of Chieti in a scientific seminar, which definitively established the paternity of the self portrait.
Studies have also been exposed in Sorrento the last 14th of May in Sorrento will have the honor of exposing self Lucan portrait in this exciting exhibition that will explore the Renaissance and the life of this great genius.
Among the works exhibited a gentlewomen bust of Donatello and of the Crucifixion by Tintoretto.
The aim of the exhibition is to present the many facets of human genius, taking as a starting point of its greatest exponents.
