Mid-August in Sorrento
Sorrento in August comes alive with festivals, fairs and concerts scattered among the various municipalities in the peninsula of Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.
The festivities reach their peak during the week of August. In Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast is also deeply felt religious holidays: the Feast of the Assumption: both in Sorrento and Positano on the August 15th takes place the traditional procession of the Assumption.
