Chestnut Festival in Faito- XVI Edition
The last three weekends in October (17-18 October, 24-25 October, October 31-November 1) in Faito there will be the sixteenth edition of the festival of chestnuts.
In this edition we will try to discover the extraordinary nutritional value of chestnuts and the different characteristics that it takes from area to area.
So in addition to singing, dancing, entertainment and jugglers for kids, evening entertainment with music and comedy for adults, was intended to perform the chestnut of the most experienced of Serino, Montella and Sicignano Alburni explaining the qualities sought in the territory of the chestnut Campania.
The entrance for visitors will be open from 10 am. In the menu you can sample the gourmet dishes with venison, wild boar and venison that match perfectly with the roast and not miss the variety of cakes and mulled wine to enhance the flavor of the chestnut.
All this in a real natural oasis, a chestnut that turns into a picnic area where you have fun, enjoy local produce and enjoy local crafts. An 'event which for years attracted visitors from all over Campania and for its sixteenth edition makes the leap in quality.
