For the gourmets comes back the Chestnut festival!
In the scenic landscape of the Mount Faito returns the long-awaited Chestnut Festival, in the wake of the resounding success of the last year.
The Chestnut Festival will start on the 16th to the 17th of October, continuing for three successive weekends until November (October 24 to 25, 31 October -1 November).
The wood flavors and delicious tastes blend top level gourmet menus, wherein chestnuts are combined with the delicacy of the typical game, like wild boar and deer. Among the dishes that you can enjoy mezzanelli with chestnut sauce, mezzanelli with porcini mushrooms and chestnuts, bean soup, wild boar sausage and chestnuts and goat stew venison with chestnuts.
As tradition delicious sweets such as donuts, roast chestnuts, and mulled wine!
