The Circumvesuviana train line connects Sorrento to Naples.

The trains depart approximately every twenty minutes and the journey takes 1 hour and 6 minutes.

When you arrive at Naples, must take the A3 motorway to the Sorrento peninsula. The highway ends at Castellammare di Stabia.

From there, simply follow the main road for about twenty kilometers. After a few tunnels arrive on Statale 145 Sorrentina, the road called "La Panoramica".

Reach Sorrento by sea is certainly the most fascinating, and the faster if you came from Naples.

Hydrofoils leave from the dock Beverello, very close to Piazza Municipio.

Ferries and hydrofoils leave always in the year, except for cases of wind and bad weather.

The best way to reach Sorrento from Capodichino Airport in Naples is certainly the buses of Curreri Line that connects airport with Peninsula towns Castellammare di Stabia, Vico Equense, Meta di Sorrento, Piano di Sorrento, Sant'Agnello and Sorrento. You can easily find the bus stop outside the arrival hall of the airport.

Every Saturday and Sunday, from June 27 to September 13 will be possible to avoid traffic between Sorrento and Naples taking hydrofoils and ferries by night.

Parking in Sorrento is certainly not the easiest thing in the world and it could be very expensive: After waisting your time in traffic, you may find yourself forced to maybe wander for hours looking for a parking space. For this reason we recommend using public buses and trains: a good alternative in the summer are for example the hydrofoil, specially during the night.
